04: All Courts: U.S. Courts and Government Agencies across the country will be closed in observance of the 4th of July National Holiday. 

02:  Morrow County, OH:  The Morrow County Common Pleas Court, located in Mt. Gilead, Ohio was closed following a hazardous mercury spill June 28th.  Expect severe delays until the court reopens.

May 2007   

28: All Courts: U.S. Courts and Government Agencies across the country will be closed in observance of the Memorial Day National Holiday. 

22:  Kiowa County, KS:  The District Court, located in Greensburg, Kansas has been closed indefinitely after a tornado destroyed most of the town.  Expect severe delays until Greensburg rebuilds.

22: Robertson County, TN: The Court will be closed May 21st through May 25th for relocation and computer system upgrades.  Expect delays until installations are complete.

February  2007   

13: Multiple Courts Weather Delays: Due to recent inclement weather, mainly in the Midwest, many courts will be closed. Please expect delays in affected areas.  

12: All Courts: Many courts will be closed today in observance of Abraham Lincoln's birthday. 

8: Jefferson County, TN: The Circuit and General Sessions Court is relocating and will be closed February 9th through February 20th.

January 2007   

17: Multiple Courts Weather Delays: Due to the recent inclement weather and power outages, many courts across the country are closed and may remain closed until the power has been restored. The states affected by the ice storms may include, but not limited to, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, New York, Pennsylvania, Iowa, Maine, Oregon, Ohio, New Hampshire, Michigan, Nebraska, most parts of New England, and in North Dakota where temperatures are 16 below zero.

15: All Courts: Most courts will be closed today in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Please expect delays.

2: All Courts: Most courts will be closed today in observation of the tribute to former President Gerald R. Ford. Please expect delays.

1: All Courts  Most courts will be closed today in observance of the New Year. Please expect delays and some backlogs.

December 2006    

29: Clark County, Nevada  Effective January 2, 2007, new procedures are being implemented to ensure that only licensed private investigators have access to court records.  First, they will review all researchers to ensure that they are duly licensed.  (We are).  There may be some resulting initial delays.  Next, they are limiting how and where a research request may be placed, and are further requiring that a signed release accompany all requests.  They are predicating research delays of at least 3-5 days, but as with all new processes, we expect longer initial delays until all bugs are worked out., 

28:  Washington,DC The courts systems are now operational, and orders are being processed. Please expect continued delays in the processing of backlog requests for the Superior Court for Washington, DC.

25 &26: We will be closed on Monday, December 25, and Tuesday December 26 in observance of the Christmas holiday.  Our offices will also be closed Monday, January 1, 2007 in observance of the New Year's Day holiday. Most federal, state, county and school offices will be closed these same days. Please expect some delays for orders during this time. We wish you a joyous holiday season and a prosperous new year!

 

21: Washington, DC - The Superior Court in Washington, DC went down Tues afternoon 12/19/06 for maintenance. The court has never gotten it back up. They do not expect it to be up prior to this weekend.

 

21: Washington - MVRS The state is getting closer to resolving their MVR processing issues, but have not resolved their problems and cannot commit to a delivery date.  For now the WA MVRs are delayed until further notice.

 

19: Washington - MVRS expected 12/19 have been delayed until 12/20 due to state processing issues. 


8: Misdemeanor courts in New Mexico are closed until Monday, December 11th. Please expect delays.
 

6: Coffee County, TN Circuit Court UPDATE: The court experienced a flood a few weeks ago that affected the return of Felony/Misdemeanor searches. Renovations necessary to repair the damage have now been completed. The court computers are back online today. Please expect delays while the researchers begin processing the backlog of work in this jurisdiction.

November 2006    

28: The Hillsborough Superior Court in New Hampshire is behind due to court clerk delays. The estimated turnaround time is currently 15 days.
 

28: The Rockingham Superior Court, NH is behind due to court clerk delays. The turnaround time for this county is currently unknown.

28: The county of Coffee, TN has completed their renovations and the court is now open. However, the computer systems are not yet in service . The turnaround time is unknown.

23. The courthouse in Chittenden, VT,is experiencing staffing shortages, expect delays.

 

23:  All Courts will be closed for Thanksgiving, 11/23.  Many courts will also be closed on Friday 11/24, or will be operating with reduced staff.  Please expect delays.

 

21: Coffee County, TN Circuit Court will be closed through Monday, November 27th due to renovations.

 

10:  Many courts will be closed Friday, November 10th in observance of Veterans Day. Please expect delays.
