Mr. Wood has been a senior engineer and security consultant with the Wackenhut Corporation for the last ten years and has more than 18 years of professional industry engineering experience. He is a systems design specialist
with a particular emphasis on physical and technical security systems and security communications.  His responsibilities include the preparation of physical security system analysis, vulnerability and risk assessments, design and construction document development (drawings and specifications) and the performance of construction administration and technical consultation services.   

Mr. Wood has significant worldwide experience in the security industry.  His projects include the design of security systems for the major international airport in Asia, port security assessments for a West African government, petroleum refinery security analysis in Greece, security assessment of copper mining operations throughout South America, and security analysis and support for all areas of critical U.S. infrastructure.  

Prior to joining Wackenhut, Mr. Wood was a contract security engineer to the Physical Security Division of the United States Department of State, reviewing design submittals for security enhancement projects at U.S. Diplomatic facilities worldwide. He received his BSEE degree from West Virginia University; Morgantown, West Virginia and is a registered professional engineer in the state of Florida.  

Mr. Wood has been designated a Board Certified Protection Professional (CPP) by ASIS International and is a member of the American Correctional Association (ACA).  He has also completed certified training in the Homeland Security Comprehensive Assessment Model (HLS-CAM), the Sandia National Laboratories Risk Assessment Methodology for Water (RAM-W), and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers Security Vulnerability Analysis (SVA) methodology. He is a member of ASIS International and the American Water Works Association.
