Mark Pickett is the Vice President of Consulting Services for the Wackenhut Corporation. He is an expert in physical security with over 20 years experience in providing loss prevention control, physical risk assessments, threat and vulnerability analysis, electronic system design and evaluation, systems integration planning, and security operational evaluations. Mr. Pickett is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security and the American Correctional Association (ACA).

Prior to joining Wackenhut, Mr. Pickett was the Managing Director for Consulting Services at Pinkerton Consulting and Investigations. He has also served in a number of management roles for several other security consulting, design and construction companies. With this experience he has functioned as project director and consultant for some of the most sophisticated security implementation projects in the country. He has lectured to many groups on the system design process, identifying and controlling vulnerabilities, risk and threat assessment, information control policies and work place violence prevention. Mr. Pickett is trained in the analysis and development of Disaster Recovery and Business Impact Analysis programs as well as developing high level Risk Assessments with electronic software tools.  He has also completed certified training in the Homeland Security Comprehensive Assessment Model (HLS-CAM).

Mr. Pickett also has extensive experience in providing consulting services on information security, with the identification of corporate assets, classification management systems, and intellectual property standards. He provides consulting services in the areas of master planning, asset management, guard force management and utilization and business safeguard identification to some of the countries largest corporations.
