Edward De Lise, CPP is Vice President Operations, Consulting and Investigations Services for Wackenhut’s Consulting and Investigations division. In that capacity he is responsible for management and oversight of all operations, reporting to William T. Hill, President.

With more than 33 years of experience in the investigations of internal theft, pilferage, sabotage and narcotics, De Lise has provided consulting services to private & publicly held corporations in every major industry and has conducted hundreds of investigations in both law enforcement and private commercial sectors. 

Prior to joining Wackenhut, De Lise was President of Outsource Consultants, Inc, an Atlanta based consulting and investigations firm specializing in internal corporate assessments and investigations. Before managing his own firm De Lise held industry executive positions with the industry’s largest national and international security, consulting and investigations firms.

De Lise holds an AAS in Police Science and Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Marist College, New York. He has completed post graduate studies as well as multitudes of security and investigation industry related professional courses leading to scores of professional certifications. He has served as an adjunct professor in Criminal Justice Studies.

He is a designated Certified Protection Professional and has been a member of the American Society of Industrial Security International (ASIS) for 26 years. De Lise is currently appointed to the Professional Certification Board (PCB) of ASIS and as Chairman of the Task Force on Investigations Certification for the Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) designation. He also serves as Chairman, Board of Professional Revue of the PCB. 

He is a charter member of the Unites States Association of Professional Investigators, an associate member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and a former member of the International Association of Professional Security Consultants.  He is a member in good standing of the International Narcotic Enforcement Officers Association (INEOA), and the American Correctional Association (ACA).  He is certified under the Homeland Security Comprehensive Assessment Model (HLS-CAM)

He is a Vietnam Veteran, serving with the 1st Marine Division, United States Marine Corps and a former Detective, City of Beacon, New York Police Department.
